The Clinical category in Maintenance contains clinical options used throughout axiUm.
It consists of the following items:
- Clinical Diagnosis Codes: Manage the list of clinical diagnosis codes.
- Clinical Symbol Codes: Create and manage clinical symbol codes that are images displayed beside a tooth on the odontogram to visually indicate a condition that applies to the specific tooth site.
- Diagnostic Categories: Create and manage the diagnostic category and subcategory lists which are used to group sets of diagnosis codes in axiUm.
- Fee Schedule Codes: Create and manage fee schedules which are used to define fees for each procedure code, and are associated to providers, insurance, and patients.
- Fee Schedule Updates: Maintain your fee schedule amounts using the copy, update, delete, and load fee schedules tabs.
- Level Codes: Create and manage the list of competency level codes, and specify the details and requirements for each code.
- Medical Diagnosis Codes: Manage the list of medical diagnosis codes.
- Modifier Codes: Manage the list of modifier codes that are used on some US medical claim forms.

- Procedure Macro Codes: Configure procedure macro codes which are used to group procedures that are commonly performed together to save users time on entry.
