Level Codes Window

Competency level codes are attached to the procedure codes and determine what procedures students can perform and in what class year they can perform them. A student must pass a certain number of exams at a lower level before moving to the next competency level.

The Level Codes window allows you to manage the list of competency level codes and specify the details and requirements for each code.

Level Obligation Options Window

(Maintenance > Clinical > Level Codes)

Each level code can include requirements that must be met prior to allowing a student to move to the next level. These requirements include evaluation forms that must be entered and approved and can also include a the requirement that a previous level must be completed first.

The Level Obligation Options window allows you to specify the options for a selected level and then to define them. It displays when you open the Level Codes window, select a listed date range and click the Level Obligation Options () icon.

Option's Obligations Window

(Maintenance > Clinical > Level Codes > Level Obligation Options)

The Option's Obligations window allows you to define the grading form(s) that must be entered and approved, as well as how many times the form(s) must be entered. It displays when you open Level Obligation Options window, select a listed level obligation and click the Option's Obligations () icon.

Prior Level Obligations Window

(Maintenance > Clinical > Level Codes > Level Obligation Options> Option's Obligations)

The competency level being defined can have one or more prior levels specified as a requirement so that the provider cannot perform procedures of their currently competency level until any prior level obligations are met.

The Prior Level Obligations window allows you to specify any prior levels that must be met before the current level competency can be completed. It displays when you open Option's Obligations window and click the Prior Level Obligations () icon.
