Clinical > Procedure Macro Codes
Procedure Macro Codes WindowProcedure macro codes are groups of procedures that are typically performed together and are used to simplify data entry for providers, allowing them to chart multiple codes from different categories with a single click. Example: During a recall appointment, you may typically perform an oral exam, take x-rays and do a prophylactic. You can set up a macro code to group together procedures D0120, D0272 and D1110, so they can be added together in one step. The Procedure Macro Codes window allows you to create macro codes for use at your institution. Important: Once the macro codes are created, you will need to add the macro to a quick list before it can be used. ![]()
