Ortho Overview

The Ortho Category in Maintenance contains options used by the Ortho module in axiUm.

Sets and Stages

Ortho treatment involves relatively few procedure codes to be completed. Sets and stages are used to track a patient's progress through the course of treatment.

• Set Codes: Create and manage ortho set codes to track patients in their ortho progress.
• Stage Codes: Create and manage the stages for each ortho set.

Custom Fields and Custom Lists

Custom fields specific to the Ortho module allow users to easily enter information during an ortho visit. You can configure custom lists for use in the ortho fields to display available answers to the user.

• Ortho Custom Fields: Create and manage custom fields used to track information during ortho visits.
• Ortho Custom Lists: Create and manage custom lists used to track information during ortho visits.

Ortho Forms

Ortho forms are created in axiUm like other forms but can be set to display only in the Ortho module, or shared so that they display in the Ortho, EHR, and Perio modules.

• Ortho Answer Lists: Create and manage answer lists specific to ortho forms.
