Manage Patient/Family Appointments

Depending on your configuration, you can view and manage a patient’s appointments from one of two windows:

  • Patient Appointments window: This allows you to view and manage only the selected patient’s appointments.

  • Family Appointments window: This allows you to view and manage the selected patient’s appointments as well as any appointments for family members that also attend your institution.

Tip: The window is managed from the Scheduler Options window > Patient/Family Appointments Window section > Mode field.

You can access the Patient Appointments or Family Appointments window from several places in the Scheduler.

To manage patient/family appointments:

  1. Open the Scheduler module and click the Select Patient () icon to display the Select Patient window.

  2. Search for and select a patient to display the Patient Appointments or Family Appointments window.
  3. Tip: You can also access the window from several other places in the Scheduler. If working on the Active tab, right-click an appointment and select Patient Appointments or Family Appointments. If working on the Pending tab, right-click the appointment and select Patient Appointments… or Family Appointments….

  4. Review the list as necessary.

  5. To perform another task, complete one of the following:
