Add Planned Treatments to Appointments

You can add a patient's planned treatment to an appointment from the Scheduler > Active, Weekly, or Pending tab and the Appointment Lists window > Appointments or Wait List tab.

To add planned treatment to an appointment:

  1. Open the Scheduler module.

  2. Locate the appointment.
  3. Right-click the appointment and select Appointment Treatments to display the Appointment Treatments window.

  4. Note: Only approved planned treatments display.

    Tip: If you want to display all planned treatments, deselect the Hide Inactive Treatments checkbox.

  5. Complete any of the following:

    • To add a planned treatment to the appointment, select the listed treatment and click the > button to move to the Appointed Treatments pane.

    • To add a new planned treatment to the appointment, click the Planned Procedure ellipsis to display the Procedure Codes List window and select a procedure.

    • Example: You need to make an unexpected appointment for an emergency situation.

  6. Tip: If necessary, you can select a listed treatment and click the < button to remove from the appointment.

  7. When ready, click Close.
