Treatment Plan Options Window

The Treatment Plan Options window allows you to manage settings based on provider type (or non-provider) or a provider group.

Note: If a user is a provider type that is specified in this list, and belongs to a provider group also specified in this list, then the options for the provider group will take precedence.

Field Description
Provider Type

A drop-down list that indicates which provider type this set of options applies to.

Note: If an option is selected, the Provider Group field is disabled.
Provider Group

A drop-down list that indicates which provider group that this set of options applies to.

Note: If an option is selected, the Provider Type field is disabled.
Select from existing problems when adding problems to the plan A checkbox that, when selected, indicates that axiUm will only display the patient's current problems when adding problems to a treatment plan.
Diagnosis Path

A drop-down list that indicates how the diagnosis dialog will display when a diagnosis is selected from a list view:

  • Show Nothing: The diagnosis tree is hidden and only the diagnosis code displays.
  • Show Full Path: The full diagnosis tree displays.
  • Show Quick List Categories: The diagnosis quick list displays.
Require consultant approval(s) A checkbox that, when selected, will require a consultant to approve the detailed treatment plan if the plan contains procedure(s) specified in the Consultant Approval Requirements window.
Requires instructor approval to print A checkbox that, when selected, indicates that an instructor must approve the plan before it can be printed.
Requires instructor approval on patient acceptance A checkbox that, when selected, indicates that an instructor must approve the plan before the patient can accept it.
Task Procedure
Add Treatment Plan Options
  1. Click the Clear Data () icon.
  2. Complete the fields as necessary and click the Add a new Record () icon.

    3. Note: Only one record can be created per provider type/group.
Edit Treatment Plan Options
  1. Select a listed entry.
  2. Make any necessary changes and click the Modify Record () icon.
Delete Treatment Plan Options
  1. Select a listed entry and click the Delete Record () icon.
  2. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
