Recall Type Groups Window

The Recall Type Groups window allows you to manage the list of recall type groups and classify the recall types that belong to each group.

Recall Type Groups - Field Definitions

Field

Description

Name

A text field that indicates the group name.

Recall Group

A disabled field that displays the currently associated recall codes.

The ellipsis is used to display the Define Recall Group window and manage the list.

Group recalls when Recall Dates are within __ days of each other

A text field that indicates when two recalls are close enough to be combined into a single appointment.

Recall Type Groups - Tasks

Task	Procedure
Add Recall Type Groups	Click the Clear Data () icon. Complete the fields as necessary and click the Add a new Record () icon.
Specify Recall Codes for Groups	Select a listed entry and click the ellipsis to display the Define Recall Groups window. Make any necessary changes and close the window.
Edit Recall Type Groups	Select a listed entry. Make any necessary changes and click the Modify Record () icon.
Delete Recall Type Groups	Select a listed entry and click the Delete Record () icon. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Preview/Print Report	(Optional) To preview the Recall Type Groups report, click the Preview Report () icon. To print the Recall Type Groups report, click the Print Report () icon. Note: The Recall Type Groups report uses the RCgroups.rpt file.

Define Recall Group Window

(Maintenance > Patient > Recall Type Groups)

The Define Recall Group window allows you to manage the recall codes within a recall type group. It displays when you open the Recall Type Groups window, select a listed group and click the Recall Group ellipsis.

Define Recall Group - Tasks

Task	Procedure
Add Recall Types to Group	Select one or more Recall Type Codes from the Available Recall Type(s) list. Click the > button to add the recall type(s) to the group. Note: Recall codes can only be tied to one group.
Remove Recall Types from Group	Select one or more Recall Type Codes from the Selected Recall Type(s) to Group With list. Click the < button to remove the recall type(s) from the group.
