Recall Type Codes Window

The Recall Type Codes window allows you to manage the different types of recalls used at your institution.

Field Description
Code

A text field that indicates the code that identifies the recall type.
Inactive A check box that, when selected, indicates the field is inactive and not in use.
Description

A text field that describes the recall type.
Preventive Care A check box that, when selected, indicates the code is only used for preventive care cycles.
Limit to one active recall A drop-down list of that indicates how multiple active recalls should be handled:
  • No: Do not limit patients to only one active recall of this type.
  • Yes, for enabled Patient Types: When a patient has multiple recalls of this type, axiUm will use the Enable Recall Type limit to one active recall field in the Patient Type Codes window to determine behavior.
  • Yes, for all patients: When a patient has multiple recalls of this type, only the most recent is kept active.
Task Procedure
Add Recall Type Codes
  1. Click the Clear Data () icon.
  2. Complete the fields as necessary and click the Add a new Record () icon.
Edit Recall Type Codes
  1. Select a listed entry.
  2. Make any necessary changes and click the Modify Record () icon.

    Note: Once a code is created, the Code field cannot be modified.
Delete Recall Type Codes
  1. Select a listed entry and click the Delete Record () icon.
  2. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Preview/Print Report
  1. (Optional) To preview the Recall Type Codes report, click the Preview Report () icon.
  2. To print the Recall Type Codes report, click the Print Report () icon.

    3. Note: The Recall Type Codes report uses the Recall rctypes.rpt file.
