Answer Schemes Window

[Accessed from Maintenance > EHR > Answer Schemes]

Answer schemes are used when working with form questions that require a numerical answer.

Note: Answer schemes are also used for clinical template notes. For more information, see Clinical Note Codes

The Answer Schemes window allows you to configure the different numerical ranges and increments available for use.

Field Description
Scheme

A text field that indicates the code that identifies the answer scheme.
Minimum

A text field that indicates the minimum value allowed in this scheme.
Maximum

A text field that indicates the maximum value allowed in this scheme.

 
Increment

A text field that indicates the increment used between the min and max values.
Task Procedure
Add Answer Schemes
  1. Click the Clear Data () icon.
  2. Complete the fields as necessary and click the Add a new Record () icon.

Edit Answer Schemes

  1. Select a listed entry.
  2. Make any necessary changes and click the Modify Record () icon.
Delete Answer Schemes
  1. Select a listed entry and click the Delete Record () icon.
  2. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Preview/Print Report
  1. (Optional) To preview the EPR Form Schemes report, click the Preview Report () icon.
  2. To print the EPR Form Schemes report, click the Print Report () icon.

    3. Note: The EPR Form Schemes report uses the formscheme.rpt file.
