Custom Codes Window

Custom fields are user-defined fields to display in various parts of axiUm. These fields can be configured to display as a drop-down list of available answers.

The Custom Codes window allows you to manage the custom code list for these types of Custom Fields.

Field Description
Type

A drop-down list that indicates which configured Custom Field has been selected.

Note: Only custom fields that have the Validate using Custom Code table check box selected display in the list.
Inactive

A check box that, when selected, indicates the field is inactive and not in use.
Code

A text field that indicates the code that identifies the response.

Tip: Entries in the list are displayed alphabetically using this field.

Default

A check box that, when selected, indicates this code is the default answer and is populated automatically.
Description

A text field that displays the response / answer.
Task Procedure
Add Custom Codes
  1. Click the Clear Data () icon.
  2. Complete the fields as necessary and click the Add a new Record () icon.
Edit Custom Codes
  1. Select a listed entry.
  2. Make any necessary changes and click the Modify Record () icon.
Delete Custom Codes
  1. Select a listed entry and click the Delete Record () icon.
  2. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Preview/Print Report
  1. (Optional) To preview the Custom Codes report, click the Preview Report () icon.
  2. To print the Custom Codes report, click the Print Report () icon.

    3. Note: The Custom Codes report uses the custcode.rpt file.
