View Product Levels

Product levels indicate the amount of each product available for use in the Inventory module. When inventory levels are low at a location, you must place an order with the correct location to get in more stock.

There are two ways to review product levels:

• By Location: This allows you to view all products at a single location.
• Across multiple locations: This allows you to view one product across all locations.

Important: The Inventory/Dispensary modules can be integrated to track sundry item usage and inventory levels simultaneously. If using the integration, you no longer need to enter product usage manually to adjust the product levels. The product levels adjust automatically in the linked inventory store when a provider checks a sundry item in or out, or marks a sundry item as found and checks it in.

Review Levels by Location

1. Open the Inventory module and click the Product Levels tab.
2. From the Location drop-down list, select a location entry and click Search to see a list of all products at that location.



3. Review the results.

Note: Products that are marked as inactive are still listed if the number for that location is greater than zero. Once the product number for that location reaches zero, the product no longer displays.

Tip: If necessary, you can select the Include Inactive checkbox to display lines for any inactive products with 0 quantities in gray text.

The Product Level tab displays the following columns:

Column	Description
Location	The product’s current location.
Product Type	The product’s broadest classification grouping.
Category	The product’s sub-grouping under the Product Type.
Product	The product’s unique identifying code.
Description	The product’s short description, including quantity and unit.
Balance	The number of units left at the location.
Last Cnt.	The number of units at the location at last count.
Unit	The product’s unit of measurement. Example: A box, bottle, blister, etc.
Re-Order	The number of units that, when reached, triggers a re-order.
Min Order	The lowest number of units you can order at a time.
Std Order	The standard number of units to order at a time.
BIN	The product’s designated inventory storage location. Note: Not all institutions use BINs to organize their storage.
Vendor	The vendor’s full name.

Review Levels Across Multiple Locations

1. Open the Inventory module and click the Product Levels tab.
2. Enter the appropriate search criteria and click Search.
3. Right-click a listed entry and select Show Product Locations to display the View Product Locations window.



4. Review the product’s Balance and Last Cnt. columns for each product location.

Note: Products that are marked as inactive are still listed if the number for that location is greater than zero. Once the product number for that location reaches zero, the product no longer displays.

Column	Description
Code	The product’s location code.
Location	The product’s current location.
Balance	The number of units left at the location.
Last Cnt.	The number of units at the location at last count.
