Station Groups Window

Station groups are used to manage groups of workstations with the same setup. This allows you to push changes to a group of stations at once, instead of needing to make each change manually.

The Station Groupswindow allows you to manage station groups used at your institution.

Field Description
Code

A text field that indicates the short code that identifies the group of stations.
Description

A text field that describes the station group.

Inactive

A check box that, when selected, indicates the record is inactive and not in use.
Task Procedure
Add Station Groups
  1. Click the Clear Data () icon.
  2. Complete the fields as necessary and click the Add a new Record () icon.
Assign Stations to Group
  1. Select a listed entry and click the Station Group Assignment () icon to display the Station Group Assignment window.
  2. Specify stations as required.

    3. Note: For more information on the Station Group Assignment window, see below.
Edit Station Groups
  1. Select a listed entry.
  2. Make any necessary changes and click the Modify Record () icon.
Delete Station Groups
  1. Select a listed entry and click the Delete Record () icon.
  2. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Preview/Print Report
  1. (Optional) To preview the Station Groups report, click the Preview Report () icon.
  2. To print the Station Groups report, click the Print Report () icon.

    3. Note: The Station Groups report uses the stngrp.rpt file.

Station Group Assignment Window

(Maintenance > System > Station Groups)

The Station Group Assignment window allows you to specify the stations to include in the selected station group. It displays when you open the Station Groups window, select a listed group and click the Station Group Assignment () icon.

Task Procedure
Add Stations
  1. Select one or more stations from the Stations (not assigned) list.
  2. Click the > button to move the station(s) to the Stations (Assigned) list.
Remove Stations
  1. Select one or more stations from the Stations(Assigned) list.
  2. Click the < button to move the station(s) to the Stations (not assigned) list.
