Provider Note Codes Window

Provider scheduling notes are used mainly in environments that have offsite/call center appointment booking. It is a way to display provider preferences and notes about how they prefer their appointments to be scheduled. While much of this can be programmed into scheduling rules, ideal day, and clinical limits, some preferences simply don’t fit or are more helpful to have as a reminder to staff when booking appointments.

The Provider Note Codes window allows you to manage the list of predefined blocks of text that are used when adding provider notes.

Field Description
Code

A text field that indicates the code that identifies the provider note.
Text

A text field that indicates the text to include in the note.
Task Procedure
Add Provider Note Codes
  1. Click the Clear Data () icon.
  2. Complete the fields as necessary and click the Add a new Record () icon.
Edit Provider Note Codes
  1. Select a listed entry.
  2. Make any necessary changes and click the Modify Record () icon.
Delete Provider Note Codes
  1. Select a listed entry and click the Delete Record () icon.
  2. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
