Default Patient Appointment Availability Window

When adding a patient to the wait list, you can specify the patient’s availability. This prevents you from trying to book patients when they are unavailable.

The Default Patient Appointment Availability window allows you to specify the default availability to display when specifying a patient’s schedule.

Field Description
Patient requires ___ notice for scheduling.

A text field and drop-down list that indicate the amount of notice (in Days or Hours) a patient needs when scheduling appointments.
Task Procedure
Configure Patient Appointment Availability
  1. Set the patient availability using the following options:

    • To modify an individual cell, click the cell to toggle its color from white to green or from greento white.

    • To modify an entire column or row, click the column/row heading.

      If any cells in the column/row were green, the column/row turns white.

      If any cells in the column/row were white, the column/row turns green.

    • To modify the entire grid, click the blank cell in the upper left column.

      If any cells were green, the grid turns white.

      If any cells were white, the grid turns green.

    Tip: Click the Reset button to undo any changes.

  2. Click OK to close the window.
