Closure Reasons Window

When a chair is marked as unavailable in the Chairs window, it is simply unavailable and will remain that way until it is re-enabled.

In axiUm, users can mark a chair as unavailable for a finite (and configurable) duration. Additionally, all chairs in a clinic can be marked as unavailable, if necessary. The reason for the closure is described in a closure reason code.

The Closure Reasons window allows you to manage the list of closure reasons used to mark chairs as unavailable.

Field Description
Reason

A text field that indicates the code that identifies the closure reason.
Default

A check box that, when selected, indicates that this is the default reason for marking a chair as unavailable.
Close all chairs default

A check box that, when selected, indicates that the All chairs in the clinic check box in the Make Unavailable window will be selected by default.
Inactive

A check box that, when selected, indicates the field is inactive and not in use.
Task Procedure
Add Closure Reasons
  1. Click the Clear Data () icon.
  2. Complete the fields as necessary and click the Add a new Record () icon.
Edit Closure Reasons
  1. Select a listed entry.
  2. Make any necessary changes and click the Modify Record () icon.
Delete Closure Reasons
  1. Select a listed entry and click the Delete Record () icon.
  2. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Preview/Print Report
  1. (Optional) To preview the Closure Reasons report, click the Preview Report () icon.
  2. To print the Closure Reasons report, click the Print Report () icon.

    3. Note: The Closure Reasons report uses the closer.rpt file.
