Clinic Holidays Window

Holidays are used in axiUm to mark a clinic as closed. Clinic holidays can apply to one or all clinics, and the duration of a holiday can range from hours to days.

The Clinic Holidays window allows you to manage the list of clinic holidays and control the clinics that they apply to.

Field Description
Show Past

A check box that, when selected, indicates that clinic holidays from previous dates are included in the display list.
Clinic

A drop-down list that indicates the Clinic that this holiday applies to.

Holidays can be defined for a specific clinic or All Clinics.

Tip: If the holiday applies to some clinics, but not all, create the holiday for a single clinic and then use the copy feature below to create the holiday for the other clinics.

Description A text field that describes the holiday.
Display Desc. The name of the holiday that displays in the Scheduler.
Start Date / End Date Fields that indicate the start and end date of the holiday.
Partial Day A check box that, when selected, indicates that the holiday does not cover an entire day.
Time Range ___ to ___ This field is enabled if Partial Day is selected, and indicates the start and end time of the holiday.
Task Procedure
Add Clinic Holidays
  1. Click the Clear Data () icon.
  2. Complete the fields as necessary and click the Add a new Record () icon.
Edit Clinic Holidays
  1. Select a listed entry.
  2. Make any necessary changes and click the Modify Record () icon.
Copy Clinic Holidays
  1. Select a listed entry and click the Copy Holiday To () icon to display the Select Clinics window.
  2. Select one or more clinics to copy the selected holiday record to and click OK.
Delete Clinic Holidays
  1. Select a listed entry and click the Delete Record () icon.
  2. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Preview/Print Report
  1. (Optional) To preview the Clinic Holidays report, click the Preview Report () icon.
  2. To print the Clinic Holidays report, click the Print Report () icon.

    3. Note: The Clinic Holidays report uses the holiday.rpt.

Select Clinic Window

(Maintenance > Scheduler > Clinic Holidays)

The Select Clinic window allows you to select a clinic to copy a clinic holiday to. It displays when you open the Clinic Holidays window and click the Copy Holiday () icon.

Task Procedure
Select a Clinic
  1. Select a listed clinic.

    2. Tip: You can select multiple levels to save time.

  2. Click OK.
