Periodontal Summaries Window

Periodontal summaries are calculated pieces of information regarding a patient’s periodontal state that are based on custom Oracle functions.

The Periodontal Summaries window allows you to manage custom perio functions for use by your institution.

Field Description
Summary

A text field that indicates the code that identifies the periodontal summary.
Description

A text field that describes the periodontal information returned by the function.
Function

A text field that indicates the (exact) Oracle function name stored in the database.

Note: The function takes the Patient's ID and returns a numeric value.

Task Procedure
Add Summaries
  1. Click the Clear Data () icon.
  2. Complete the fields as necessary and click the Add a new Record () icon.
Edit Summaries
  1. Select a listed entry.
  2. Make any necessary changes and click the Modify Record () icon.
Delete Summaries
  1. Select a listed entry and click the Delete Record () icon.
  2. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Preview/Print Perio Summaries Report
  1. (Optional) To preview the Perio Summaries report, click the Preview Report () icon.
  2. To print the Perio Summaries report, click the Print Report () icon.

    3. Note: The Perio Summaries report uses the PerSumm.rpt file.
