Periodontal Exam Types Window

Perio exam types are used to specify what the perio chart values being entered represents.

Examples: A full vs partial exam. An exam may focus on one quadrant or one arch or the entire mouth.

The Periodontal Exam Types window allows you to manage the list of availabe perio exam types.

Field Description
Code

A text field that indicates the code that identifies the perio exam type .
Inactive

A checkbox that, when selected, indicates the field is inactive and not in use.
Description

A text field that describes the perio exam type.
Task Procedure
Add Exam Types
  1. Click the Clear Data () icon.
  2. Complete the fields as necessary and click the Add a new Record () icon.
Edit Exam Types
  1. Select a listed entry.
  2. Make any necessary changes and click the Modify Record () icon.

    3. Note: Once as exam type is created, the Code field cannot be modified.
Delete Exam Types
  1. Select a listed entry and click the Delete Record () icon.
  2. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Preview/Print Perio Patient Types Report
  1. (Optional) To preview the Perio Exam Types report, click the Preview Report () icon.
  2. To print the Perio Exam Types report, click the Print Report () icon.

    3. Note: The Perio Exam Types report uses the PerExam.rpt file.
