Perio > Perio Conditions
Periodontal Conditions WindowThe Periodontal Conditions window allows you to manage the perio conditions for use by your institution. ![]() You can configure which perio conditions are used at your institution. Note: Not all providers or departments need to chart the same conditions. axiUm has seven hard-coded perio condition types:
Tip: To set up a perio condition that does not fit into one of these categories, you can use the condition type of Other Condition. Once a condition is created you must specify the types of values that are used to chart each condition and list the acceptable values that can be entered and how they are entered on the keyboard. Example: A condition can be set up to allow numeric values, and then restricted to only allow values from -5 to 5. A condition can be charted once per tooth, or multiple times per tooth (up to 6 times; 3 on each side). It may be charted if a tooth is missing or can be skipped when a tooth is not present. ![]()
