Overdue Patient Conditions Window

The Overdue Patient Conditionswindow allows you to manage overdue conditions.

Overdue Patient Conditions - Field Definitions

Field	Description
Code	A text field that indicates the code that identifies the overdue condition.
Active	A check box that, when selected, indicates the condition is active and in use.
Description	A text field that describes the overdue condition.
Function	A text field that indicates the exact name of the Oracle function used to calculate this overdue condition.
Limit / Period	A text field that indicates the numerical value for the length of time before a condition is overdue. A drop-down list that indicates the unit of measurement: Calendar Days Clinical Days Note: When Clinical Days is selected, the Clinic Schedule for Clinic Days icon is enabled and must be configured. Calendar Months
Condition Checked per Assigned Provider	A check box that, when selected, indicates that the condition should be checked individually for each assigned provider. Example: If the primary provider is overdue, but the secondary provider is not, only the primary provider's name will display in the overdue list.
Affects Future Patient Assignments to the Provider?	A check box that, when selected, indicates that the Patient Assignments window will indicate that the provider has an overdue condition. This is to notify the group manager and have them decide if the condition should be cleared before the next patient assignment. Note: This field is enabled when Conditions Checked per Assigned Provider is selected.
Limit Msg	A text field that indicates the overdue message code to use when the condition becomes overdue, and determines which user(s) should receive the message. The ellipsis is used to display the Overdue Messages window and select an overdue message code.
Resend Every __	A text field that indicates the length of time to allow the condition to be met before resending the message. A drop-down list that indicates the unit of measurement: Calendar Days Clinical Days Note: When Clinical Days is selected, the Clinic Schedule for Clinic Days icon is enabled and must be configured. Calendar Months Note: This field is enabled if a Limit Msg code is entered.
Extension Msg	A text field that indicates the overdue message code to use when an extension is granted for this condition, and determines which user(s) should receive the message. The ellipsis is used to display the Overdue Messages window and select an overdue message code.

Overdue Patient Conditions - Tasks

Task	Procedure
Add Patient Overdue Conditions	Click the Clear Data () icon. Complete the fields as necessary and click the Add a new Record () icon.
Manage Clinic Schedules	Select a listed entry and click the Clinic Schedule for Clinic Days () icon to display the Clinic Schedules window. Make any necessary changes and close the window.
Edit Overdue Patient Conditions	Select a listed entry. Make any necessary changes and click the Modify Record () icon.
Delete Overdue Patient Conditions	Select a listed entry and click the Delete Record () icon. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Preview/Print Report	(Optional) To preview the Overdue Patient Conditions report, click the Preview Report () icon. To print the Overdue Patient Conditions report, click the Print Report () icon. Note: The Overdue Patient Conditions report uses the overdue.rpt file.

Overdue Messages Window

(Maintenance > Patient > Overdue Conditions)

The Overdue Message window allows you to configure the recipients of overdue messages. It displays when you open the Overdue Patient Conditions window and click the Limit Msg or Extension Msg ellipsis.

Overdue Messages - Field Definitions

A text field that indicates the code that identifies the overdue message type.

When selected, the ellipsis is used to display the Select Message Recipients window and select additional recipients.

Overdue Messages - Tasks

Task	Procedure
Add Overdue Messages	Click the Clear Data () icon. Complete the fields as necessary and click the Add a new Record () icon.
Edit Overdue Messages	Select a listed entry. Make any necessary changes and click the Modify Record () icon.
Delete Overdue Messages	Select a listed entry and click the Delete Record () icon. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Preview/Print Report	(Optional) To preview the Overdue Messages report, click the Preview Report () icon. To print the Overdue Messages report, click the Print Report () icon. Note: The Overdue Messages report uses the oduemsg.rpt file.

Clinic Schedules Window

(Maintenance > Patient > Overdue Conditions)

The Clinic Schedules window allows you to specify the open days for a clinics which are used to calculate days when the Period for an overdue condition is set to Clinical Days. It displays when you open the Overdue Patient Conditions window, select a listed condition and click the Clinic Schedule for Clinic Days () icon.

Clinic Schedules - Field Definitions

Field	Description
Type	A drop-down list that indicates the type of clinic schedule being defined: Specific: This schedule only applies to the selected overdue condition (which displays when this option is selected). General: This schedule applies to all overdue conditions (that are calculated using the Clinical Days period.)
Description	A text field that describes the clinic schedule.
Start Date / End Date	Two date fields that indicate the first and last active days for this clinic schedule.
Active Days	Check boxes that, when selected, indicates the day(s) of the week that the clinic is open.

Clinic Schedules - Tasks
