Employer List Window

The Employer List window allows you to search for and manage the list of employers that patients at your institution work for.

Field Description
Criteria

A text field that is used to enter your search criteria.

Tip: You can enter the first few characters of the word, or enter an underscore (_) to return all results.

Show Deleted

A checkbox that, when selected, will return employers that have been deleted.
Search On

A drop-down list that indicates the field to search on:

  • Name
  • Address
  • City
  • State
  • Telephone
Task Procedure
Search for Employers
  1. Use the Criteria field and Search On drop-down list to set the search parameters.
  2. Click the Search For Data () icon and review the results.

    3. Note: If your search has more than 100 results, a prompt displays. Click Yes to continue your search or click No to stop and change your criteria to narrow the results list.

Add Employers
  1. Click the Create a new Record () icon to display the Employer window.
  2. Complete the fields as necessary and click OK.
Edit Employers
  1. Search for and select a listed entry.
  2. Click the Edit Record () icon to display the Employer window.
  3. Make any necessary changes and click OK.

    4. Tip: You can also double-click a listed entry to display the Employer window.

Delete Employers
  1. Search for and select a listed entry.
  2. Click the Delete Record () icon.
  3. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Preview/Print Report
  1. (Optional) To preview the Employers report, click the Preview Report () icon.
  2. To print the Employers report, click the Print Report () icon.

    3. Note: The Employers report uses the employer.rpt file.

Show History
  1. Search for and select a listed entry.
  2. Click the Show History () icon to display the Employer History window and review the history of the employer record.

Employer Window

(Maintenance > Patient > Employer List)

The Employer window allows you to enter information about an employer or a clinic. It displays when you open the Employer List window and click the Add a new Record () icon or select a listed employer and click the Edit Record () icon.

Field Description
Employer

A text field that indicates the name of the employer/company.
Address

Text fields that indicate the address information for the employer.
Notes

A text field that indicates any additional information about the employer.
Task Procedure
Add Employers
  1. Complete the fields as necessary and click OK.

Edit Employers

  1. Make any necessary changes and click OK.

Employer History Window

(Maintenance > Patient > Employer List)

The Employer History window allows you to view a historic list of records for the selected employer and select an item from the list to view the details in the window’s read-only fields. It displays when you open the Employer List window and click the Show History () icon.

Field Description
Employer

A read-only field that indicates the name of the employer/company.
Address

Read-only fields that indicate the address information for the employer.
Phone

A read-only field that indicates the phone number for the employer.
Notes A read-only field that indicates any additional information about the employer.

  1. Select a listed record and review the fields as necessary.
