Contact Note Codes Window

The Contact Note Codes window allows you to manage predefined blocks of text that can be added to a patients record from the Patient Card to indicate that contact has been made (or attempted) with a patient.

Field Description
Code

A text field that indicates the code that identifies the contact note.
Text

A text field that indicates the text to include in the note.
Task Procedure
Add Contact Note Codes
  1. Click the Clear Data () icon.
  2. Complete the fields as necessary and click the Add a new Record () icon.
Edit Contact Note Codes
  1. Select a listed entry.
  2. Make any necessary changes and click the Modify Record () icon.

    Note: Once a Contact Note code is created, the Code cannot be modified.
Delete Contact Note Codes
  1. Select a listed entry and click the Delete Record () icon.
  2. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Preview/Print Report
  1. (Optional) To preview the Contact Note Codes report, click the Preview Report () icon.
  2. To print the Contact Note Codes report, click the Print Report () icon.

    3. Note: The Contact Note Codes report uses the ContNoteCode.rpt file.
