Provider Import Window

The Provider Import window allows you to import a list of providers from a text file, using a specified example provider from axiUm to copy the settings from.

For more information on creating the data files, see the How to Import Providers article in the axiUm Community.

Note: The Provider Import utility is not capable of updating provider records. If many changes are required to a group of providers, other solutions must be used.

Field Description
Import File

A text field that indicates the path to the import file.

The ellipsis is used to navigate to the import file.
Result File

A text field that indicates the path to the result file.

The ellipsis is used to navigate to the result file.
Overwrite Results File?

A check box that, when selected indicates that the result file will be over written and any previous results will be deleted.

Note: When deselected, any import results are appended to the previous results.

Copy from:

A set of radio buttons that indicates the type of record to base the provider's default values on:

  • Level: All imported providers will be loaded with default values based on the selected PowerAdmin security level.

    When selected, the drop-down list displays available security levels.

  • User: All imported providers will be loaded with default values based on the selected user.

    When selected, the ellipsis is used to display the Users List (Providers Only) window and select a user.
Password A text field that indicates the initial temporary password for the new providers.
