Configure default Inventory options for the workstation. Once set, these pre-populate in the related fields when users complete regular Inventory tasks.

Inventory Setup Window

The Inventory Setup window allows you to configure dispensary workstation options and customize the way the Inventory module displays on individual workstations.

Important: The options in the Station Options pane are specific to the current workstation and are also managed in Station Options.

Field Description
Minimum Product Length

A text field that indicates the minimum length for inventory product codes.

When an entry is made that is less than the minimum product length the system automatically assumes the entry is a quantity and not a product.
Default Location

A drop-down list that indicates the workstation's default inventory location.

This location displays in the Ordered by field.
Order Type

A drop-down list that indicates the workstation's default order type.

This location displays in the Type field.
Order From

A drop-down list that indicates the workstation's default location that products move from.

This location displays in the From field.
Transfer From

A drop-down list that indicates the workstation's default location that products transfer from.

This location displays in the Transfer From field.
Transfer To

A drop-down list that indicates the workstation's default location that products transfer to.

This location displays in the Transfer To field.
