Allergy List Window

The Allergy List window allows you to search for and manage your list of allergies.

Field Description
Criteria

A text field that is used to enter your search criteria.

Tip: You can enter the first few characters of the word, or enter an underscore (_) to return all results.

Search On

A drop-down list that indicates the field to search on:

  • Code
  • Description
Task Procedure
Search for Allergies
  1. Use the Criteria field and the Search On drop-down list to set the search parameters.
  2. Click the Search For Data () icon and review the results.

    3. Note: If your search has more than 100 results, a prompt displays. Click Yes to continue your search or click No to stop and change your criteria to narrow the results list.

Add Allergy Codes
  1. Click the Create a new Record () icon to display the Allergy window.
  2. Complete the fields as necessary and click OK.
Edit Allergy Codes
  1. Search for and select a listed entry.
  2. Click the Edit Record () icon to display the Allergy window.
  3. Make any necessary changes and click OK.

    4. Tip: You can also double-click a listed entry to display the Allergy window.

Delete Allergy Codes
  1. Search for and select a listed entry.
  2. Click the Delete Record () icon.
  3. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Preview/Print Report
  1. (Optional) To preview the Allergy Codes report, click the Preview Report () icon.
  2. To print the Allergy Codes report, click the Print Report () icon.

    3. Note: The Allergy Codes report uses the Allergies.rpt file.

Look Up Additional Information
  1. Search for and select a listed entry.
  2. Click the Info Button: Additional Information () icon to launch a web browser that displays more information about the selected allergy.
  3. Review information as necessary and close the window.

    4. Note: The default web page to display is set in Station Options > General > Info Buttons > InfoButtonUrl.

Refresh Allergy List
  1. Click the Refresh () icon to bring over the allergy list from eRx.

    2. Note: This option is only available for use with eRx.

Allergy Window

(Maintenance > EHR > Allergy List)

The Allergy window allows you to specify an allergy and the relevant information about it. It displays when you open the Allergy List window and click the Add a new Record () icon or select a listed allergy and click the Edit Record () icon.

Field Description
Code

A text field that indicates the code that identifies the allergy.
Inactive

A check box that, when selected, indicates the field is inactive and not in use.
Description

A text field that describes the allergy.

Default Note A text field that indicates the default note that axiUm displays when users add this allergy.
Color

A color bar that indicates the text color to display for this allergy.

Tip: Use a color that stands out and is easy to read.

Task Procedure
Add Allergies
  1. Complete the fields as necessary and click OK.

Edit Allergies

  1. Make any necessary changes and click OK.
