Patient Assignments

The Patient Info window contains information about the staff members assigned to a patient. Staff members can include the following:

• Patient Providers: These are assigned to a patient to maintain the same primary dental provider for the patient and help ensure continuity of care.

• Patient Managers: These are assigned to a patient to oversee and supervise without performing treatment.

• Faculty Members: These are assigned to a patient to instruct the assigned student provider and help facilitate the relationship between the patient and provider.

You can use view the assignment history to see all changes made to the assignment, the user who made them, and the date/time they were made.
