Add Evaluations After Appointments

If the evaluation is not added after the procedure is approved, there are several ways you can add an evaluation after the appointment.

Note: When the evaluation has been added, you can fill out the evaluation as necessary.

Module Description
EHR Module Right-click a treatment in the EHR and select Add Student Eval.
Perio Module From the Perio Tx History window, right-click a treatment and select Add Student Eval.
Ortho Module From the Ortho Tx History window, right-click a treatment and select Add Student Eval.
Transactions Module

From the Treatment tab, right-click a treatment and select Add Student Eval.

Note: This is not often used as students do not usually have access to the Transactions module.

Evaluations Module

You can add three types of evaluations from the Evaluations Manager:

  • General evaluations: These are evaluations that are not specific to a treatment.
    1. From the Evaluations, Grades, or Unevaluated Tx tab, click Add.
    2. When prompted with a General Evaluation Warning window, click Yes to continue.
    3. If prompted with a User Authentication window, swipe or enter your credentials and click OK.
  • Sessional evaluations: These are evaluations that are performed after a student provider completes a treatment and has it approved.
    1. From the Unevaluated Tx tab, select a treatment and click Add.
    2. If prompted with a User Authentication window, swipe or enter your credentials and click OK.
  • Periodic evaluations: These are evaluations that are performed based on the number of times a faculty member has had contact with the student provider or resident. When the minimum number of required interactions has occurred, the faculty member can perform a periodic evaluation.
    1. From the Periodic Evals tab, review the listed providers as well as the number of contacts with each select a treatment.
    2. Tip: You can review the number of interactions with from the Periodic Evals tab > Contact column.

    3. Click Add.
    4. If prompted with a User Authentication window, swipe or enter your credentials and click OK.
