Status Bar Notifications
|
A status bar notification displays from the status bar and may act as a simple visual indicator, pop-up with warning, or display an error that prevents you from completing an action. There are two status bar notification types: Status bar indicators display information for you on the status bar or in a pop-up window.
When a status bar indicator is triggered, it displays on the status bar as text or an icon.
Note: Text indicators may have colored text and/or background. Tip: You can hover over an indicator to display a tooltip with more information. If an arrow icon displays, you can click the icon to display a pop-up window and review additional information.
Note: This display option is helpful if your institution uses many indicators. Status bar interventions display information for you, include a severity, and may require an action. They may also display a warning or error message to prevent you from performing a certain action.
Status bar interventions are ranked according to severity:
There are two types of status bar interventions: Reactive interventions inform you about an existing situation or condition and display their information at a time appropriate to the activity you are performing. They are triggered by an action you take, including:
Proactive interventions warn or prevent you from performing an action. An intervention can display before a treatment/appointment is added and warn you about proceeding or display an error that prevents you from completing the action. Interventions can be set up to run when you try to perform the following activities:
When a status bar intervention is triggered, it displays on the status bar as an icon and as a pop-up message.
Note: If several interventions are triggered at the same time, the highest severity color displays on the status bar. The intervention message displays the same severity indicator as the status bar and information about the intervention’s cause.
Note: If the window is an error, you cannot continue. You can also click the intervention to display the Provider Interventions Display window. Note: If multiple interventions are triggered, axiUm displays them in order of severity, from severe to mild. If there are multiple interventions, you can sort and filter them using the fields.
