Customize Case Management

You can customize the way the Case Management module displays on individual workstations to suit your preferences. This is managed from the Options/Settings () icon > EHR Options window > Case Management tab.

Tip: These options can also be managed from Maintenance > System > Station Options > EHR > Case Management Opts and can pushed out to multiple machines.

Note: To see the effects of your changes, close and re-open the EHR module.

Field Description

Default Anesthetics Display

Select the Text or Graphic radio button to choose the default display method for anesthetics.

Default Vitals Display

Select the Text or Graphic radio button to choose the default display method for vitals.

Select which vitals checkboxes to display as a line graph:

  • Heart Rate
  • Temperature
  • Respiratory Rate

  • Blood Pressure

  • Oxygen Saturation

  • End Tidal CO2

Note: If not selected, that measurement will display without a line graph.

Input Interval (min)

Select an entry from the drop-down list to indicate how often vital data should be captured:

  • 5
  • 10
  • 15
Refresh Every ___ minutes

Select the checkbox to indicate that vitals will be refreshed when they are imported via HL7.

Enter how often in minutes a vitals refresh should occur.

Note: The default value is 1 minute.

Save as Station Default

Click the button to save all changes as this workstation’s defaults.

Note: If not clicked, all changes are lost when the user logs out.
