Rather than focusing on front-line clinical workflows, this series provides a behind-the-scenes view of how axiUm is structured and managed, giving administrators the context needed to support users, maintain data integrity, and ensure consistent, reliable system operations. Through a foundational overview of key axiUm modules, administrators will learn how the system supports patient management, scheduling, charting, treatment planning, and academic or clinic operations from an administrative perspective. The courses emphasize core navigation, essential terminology, and system configuration concepts that impact documentation standards, workflow consistency, and overall system usability. Participants will learn how axiUm is structured, how modules are organized and accessed based on user roles, and how to efficiently move through the interface using the menu bar, navigation panel, module windows, and status bar.

Learners will develop the skills needed to efficiently search for and maintain accurate patient information, ensuring records are complete, organized, and correctly linked to supporting details such as guarantors and insurance plans. Participants will learn how to customize patient search displays, add new patient records, manage family and guarantor relationships, and properly associate insurance benefit plans to support accurate billing and reporting. The course also covers identifying relevant codes within the Maintenance module and resolving data integrity issues by merging duplicate patient records using built in merge chart functionality.

Learners will gain hands-on experience creating, filtering, and customizing reports to meet specific needs, as well as saving and managing predefined reports with appropriate access levels. The course also covers exporting reports in common formats, such as Excel and text files, for external review, sharing, and further analysis. By the end of this course, learners will be able to confidently use Info Manager to generate meaningful reports, manage report access, and efficiently share data to support organizational workflows.

Learners will gain Handson experience configuring attachment sections, subtabs, and access levels to control visibility and security. The course also covers setting up and managing both general and treatment-based consents, including configuration options and business rules that support clinical and administrative workflows. In addition, participants will learn how to create mail merge letters to standardize communications and generate patient documentation efficiently. By the end of this course, learners will be equipped to manage attachments, consents, and related communications accurately and in alignment with institutional policies.

Participants will gain Handson experience navigating the odontogram, entering clinical chart information, viewing treatment history, and completing treatment plans. The course also covers approving treatment plans and using EHR display options to maintain clear, accurate, and up to date patient records. By the end of this course, learners will be equipped to confidently document, review, and manage clinical information within the EHR, supporting consistent and effective patient care.
